Beautiful wool wall Tapestry by Rene Fumeron. It’s a limited edition of  63/200, hand printed on wool, with the artist’s initials R.Fumeron in the lower right corner with Label at the reverse, with autographed signature and number.

René Fumeron’s style, influenced by Jean Lurçat’s reformation of tapestry weaving, earned him the unique title of “Imagier” (image maker) among his peers. His work is distinguished by its subject matter—trees, branches, birds, and fish—paired with a robust sense of composition and vivid imagination. Utilizing steep vertical lines, bold geometric forms, and a vibrant palette, Fumeron masterfully achieved transparency and harmony in his tapestry designs.
