White and Blue wardrobe by Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax
White and Blue wardrobe by Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax
by Willy Van Der Meeren
This small wardrobe cabinet was designed by the Belgian designer Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax in the early 1950s.
It is a classic example of mid-century Belgian social furniture design: those cabinets were used in schools and factories.
This small-sized wardrobe has 2 lacquered metal sliding doors with elegant wooden handles.
The body is made of a black lacquered metal frame with wooden panels. Inside there is a hanging rod and 4 metal shelves.
This cabinet can be used as a wardrobe or for a variety of other storage needs. It is in very good original condition. The doors still have their original paint.
