This rare extensible wall lamp ‘Scherenlampe’ was designed by Ingo Maurer and Dorothee Maurer-Becker in 1968 for Design M.
This lamp belongs to one of the first collections that Ingo Maurer designed for his own company Design M.
Typical is that the base, the scissors-arm and the ball shade are all made in chromium-plated steel.
This lamp is not in production anymore and so a real collector’s item.
It is in good vintage condition.
