Tafel .01 - Dining or Desk Table - by Lennart Van Uffelen

As often in the Functionality kills the fun – collection Tafel .01 uses two common items or materials that have a certain link to create a humorous image. In this case it involves wood and an axe. The table is made from the same ash wood as one frequently finds in an axe handle. By only adding one other material, the polished stainless steel axe blade, we are left with a completely pure image. The original table is made firstly according to woodworking tradition after which an axe hits and replaces one of the legs. Fully functional, just mind the sharp edges.
