Super Sella Stool by Achille et Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Zanotta

The Sella stool is designed by Achille et Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957 for Zanotta and produced since 1983. With Sella, the brothers Castiglioni demonstrate their flair for converting everyday objects into original designs. It is considered to be one of their most extreme designs.
The Sella has an original Brooks black leather saddle of a racing bicycle on a pink lacquered steel stem with a heavy cast-iron hemispherical balancing base. The saddle height can be adjusted in the pink enamelled stem with a thumb-screw.
This Sella is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use.
