Strips Lounge Sofa by Cini Boeri for Arflex

At the beginning of the seventies, Arch. Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with a lounge sofa, that becomes an “evergreen”: the modular Strips , which belong to the history of Arflex and it is really one of the most famous products. Designed in1968, it awarded the prize Compasso d’Oro.  The main characteristic of the model is the removable quilted cover. The padding are an integral part of the cover, placed on a wooden frame, made by shaped polyurethane with differentiated density, to guarantee the best comfort of the seat.

This three-seater sofa is dating from the early 1970s, it was re-upholstered by the previous owner. This super comfortable sofa is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use. It is cleaned, so ready for use. The sofa is marked.
