Harry Bertoia designed this iconic wire chair 420 C for Knoll International in the 1950s.
These original Bertoia chairs are made of chromium-plated metal and in very good vintage condition.
It was Charles Eames who motivated the sculptor Harry Bertoia to design a chair, the result was a set of different wire chairs produced by Knoll International and in Belgium by De Coene.
Bertoia turned industrial wire rods into a design icon: transparent and comfortable.
