Set of 4 Costes Chairs by Philippe Starck for Driade Aleph
Set of 4 Costes Chairs by Philippe Starck for Driade Aleph
This famous chair was designed by Philippe Starck for the Café Costes in Paris in 1984.
It is a study of an armchair that takes the space of a chair.
The chair was designed with only 3 legs to make it more easier to wait on the table without waiters tripping on the legs.
These 4 chairs are a combination of a black leather seat and a walnut plywood back on black enameled tubular steel legs.
The chairs are used, but still in good vintage condition, there are some little damages on the wood which you can see on the detail pictures.
The chairs are labelled, signed and dated 1994.
