Rare Tripod Coat Rack of the 1950s

This funny tripod coat stand is for sure a design of the 1950s, probably of French or Belgian manufacture.

It looks like an abstract sculpture. The designer must have been inspired by the stabile sculptures of Alexander Calder. 

It is a colorful multifunctional design: You can hang and organise your coats, scarfs, shoes and gloves.

This coat stand is repainted.
