Perignem Tile Coffee Table
Perignem Tile Coffee Table
This tile coffee table was created in the workshop of Perignem. This ceramics workshop founded by the brothers Vandeweghe was situated in Beernem, Belgium and was the base of the modern Flemish ceramics that flourished in the 1950s and 1960s. Many artists contributed to the creation of the Perignem collection such as Yves Rhayé and Octave Landuyt.
This coffee table features a black lacquered metal base and a decorative tile table top, reminiscent of the work of Yves Rhayé.
The table dates from the 1960s and is in very good condition, with normal signs of age and use.
