Pendant Lamp by Otto Müller for Sistrah
Pendant Lamp by Otto Müller for Sistrah
This pendant lamp was designed by Otto Müller in 1931 and manufactured by Sistrah Licht GmbH in Germany.
The name Sistrah derives from the German “sie strahlt hell”, she shines brightly.
The designs were intended to produce a non-glaring light that could be focused accurately, especially suitable for medical environments.
Their stepped one-piece glass shades were also easier to clean than metal shades.
So this lamps is designed in the spirit of Bauhaus: pure and functional.
This lamp is in very good condition, rewired and ready for use.
