Pair of White Lacquered Benches by Alvar Aalto

This timeless bench model 153A was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1945 for Artek, Finland.
The 4 L-legs are made of bent birch plywood and the top is made of birch wood, white lacquered.
This bench is multi-functional: It can be used as a bench, a side table or a magazine rack.
Both benches, produced in the 1970s,  are in good condition. The benches are profoundly used and gives them a nice patina.
