The ‘Pollux’ wall lamp was designed by Ingo Maurer and Dorothee Maurer-Becker in 1967 for Design M.
It belongs to one of the first collections that Ingo Maurer designed for his own company Design M.
The lamp is entirely made of chromium-plated steel. It can be used as a table lamp as well as a wall lamp.
This lamp is very nice in a pair and very easy to mount on the wall.
Pollux is a celebration of the bare light bulb. It consists of a simple support for the bulb which swivels on its axis producing an adjustable light source.
The Pollux lamp is out of production and so a real collector’s item.
Both lamps are in very good vintage condition.
