Pair of Modernist Tubular Cantilever Chairs
Pair of Modernist Tubular Cantilever Chairs
These tubular cantilever chairs can be dated in the early 1930s. Since Mart Stam invented the cantilever chair in 1926, a lot of designers experimented with this new design.
This anonymous design is a great example of craftsmanship: the nice detailed chrome tubular metal base with special screws, the plywood seat and back rest, the armrests finished with solid wood.
This pair modernist chairs is in very good condition. The chairs are marked ‘Lora a’.
The price is for the pair.
