Stool by Maison Rinck, France 1970
This pair of sculptural stools are designed by Maison Rinck in France 1973. They are made with a Pleated metal frame that is chrome-plated and a smoked plexiglas seat.
These stools were first presented together with a dining table from the same series at the Salon National des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1973. A fine French example of the Space Age movement of the 1970s, reminiscent of the work of designer Boris Tabacoff, among others.
