Oval Carrara Marble Dining Table

This dining table can be dated in the 1970s.
The white Carrara marble oval top rests on the central aluminum pedestal base.
This table was inspired by the work of Eero Saarinen. He designed this kind of table in 1957.
Saarinen vowed to address the “ugly, confusing, unrestful world” he observed underneath chairs and tables – the so-called “slum of legs” and he designed the revolutionary Pedestal Collection.
This high quality table is in very good condition.
