Mid-Century Sculpture by Curtis Jere

This unique Mid Century bronze and natural stone sculpture was designed by Curtis Jere.

The curved and dynamic shape made of bronze lands on a solid base made of pink natural stone. The bronze part has a very organic shape while the natural stone has an abstract geometric shape. Curtis Jere is a pseudonym for the collaboration between Curtis Freiler (1910-2013) and Jerry Fels (1917-2007), two well-known American designers and artists. Both are known for their innovative designs of furniture and decorative arts. Together they created a wide range of artistic pieces of sculpture and metalwork. This sculpture beautifully reflects the innovative designs and collaborations of these two artists.
