Magnificent Brazilian Butterfly Side Table

This unique Art Deco side table of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil is handcrafted .
It can be dated in the 1930s – 1940s.
Luckily, nowadays the butterflies are protected, so the production of this kind of tables is forbidden.
The butterflies, covered with a glass top, look like a colorful kaleidoscope.
The artist has subtly arranged the wings of the butterflies with repetitive patterns.
The equally impressive base is made of monkey puzzle tree wood with its typical decorative pattern.
This table is in very good original condition. It is marked on the top and labeled under the base.
