Large Dandelion Chandelier by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll
Large Dandelion Chandelier by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll
This iconic 32-light blossom chandelier Dandelion was designed by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll in the 1950s.
Emil Stejnar was trained as a gold- and silversmith in his hometown Vienna, Austria. He was inspired by nature and science, of which the Dandelion chandelier is a nice example.
This chandelier is made of a lot of glass pearls and flowers, fixed on white lacquered metal sticks. The sputnik-like base is made of brass, so are the original ceiling components. Mention that this Dandelion is ellipsoid.
This chandelier is in very good vintage condition.
