French Napoleon III Gilt Faux Bamboo Stool

This decorative Napoleon III folding stool dates from around 1850.
It is an elegant low stool with a gilt wooden faux bamboo folding base. The seat still has its authentic embroidery finished with velvet.
This extraordinary stool is in very good authentic condition. The embroidery is a little damaged due to age and use.
