Extraordinary Anglo-Indian Carved Chair

This extraordinary Anglo-Indian carved hardwood side chair can be dated in the late 19th century.
The backrest is exquisitely carved with an image of Krishna surrounded by florals.
The top is decorated with three carved figures.
The solid wooden seat raised on elaborately carved front legs featuring elephants, tigers heads and peacocks.
This impressive chair is cleaned and waxed in our workshops. It is still in very good condition, with normal signs of age and use.
