Exceptional Rocking Chair by Thonet
Exceptional Rocking Chair by Thonet
This old original rocking chair was designed and manufactured by Thonet around 1925. This rocking chair in dark brown bentwood has some very special bent curls, different from the standard models.
The backrest, the rocking base and the armrest are made of one piece of bentwood! It is a great example of craftsmanship.
The chair is labelled and can be dated in the interbellum.
This rocking chair is in very good vintage condition. The bentwood has some normal signs of age and use. The webbing is in good condition. The seat was once changed, but the webbing of the backrest is still authentic.
