Ebanil Desk Lamp KD 29 by Joe Colombo

The desk lamp KD 29 is designed by Joe Colombo for Kartell in 1964. This lamp is a rare example because it is a pre-production, handmade in black ebanil plastic. Before the KD 29 lamp was produced in a large edition in ABS plastic, it was handmade in black or white ebanil plastic. This kind of plastic is easy to bend and cut, but not so strong as ABS plastic. This lamp is in good original condition. It is a rare piece, hard to find and a real collector’s item.
