Very special set of 2 Spider lamps designed by Joe Colombo for Oluce in Italy in 1966. In 1967 the Spider won the Compasso d’Oro award. These lamps are a very early production of 1967.
These table or desk lamps are giving direct light, have a blue lacquered metal base, chromium-plated stem, adjustable reflector in blue lacquered aluminium. These lamps need a special horizontal spot light bulb. A plastic joint allows the reflector to tilt.
They are in a very good vintage condition and real collector’s items.
