The Djuna side table was designed by Kazuhide Takahama in 1983 for Simon International (founded by

Dino Gavina and Maria Simoncini) in Italy.
This low table has a refined chromed steel bar frame and a loose elliptical table top in black Marquiña marble.

The table shows the rigor and minimalism that the Japanese designer is known for such as the Tulu chair, the Antella table, ….

This furniture exudes a poetic union of Eastern and Western cultures to create a unique design language that reflects the designer’s experiences around the world.

This side table is in very good condition. It is an early production by Simon International, since 2013 Djuna is published by Cassina in the SimonCollezione.
