Dandelion Chandelier by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll
Dandelion Chandelier by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll
This iconic blossom chandelier Dandelion was designed by Emil Stejnar for Rupert Nikoll in the 1950s.
Emil Stejnar was trained as a gold- and silversmith in his hometown Vienna, Austria. He was inspired by nature and science, of which the Dandelion chandelier is a nice example.
This chandelier is made of a lot of glass pearls and flowers, fixed on white lacquered metal sticks. The sputnik-like base, stem and ceiling cap are made of brass.
This chandelier is in very good vintage condition.
