Dalu Table Lamp by Vico Magistretti for Artemide

This table lamp Dalu was designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 and produced by Artemide in Italy.
The lamp is made of orange molded plastic with a cable management spring.
It is in an excellent vintage condition.
This lamp is surely an old production of the 1960s, complete original.
One of the central goals of Modern design has been the realization of single-material and single-piece constructions, to make the manufacturing much more efficient.
The Dalu is a perfect example of this idea and can be seen as the lighting equivalent of Verner Panton’s groundbreaking single-material, single-piece plastic chair.
