Credenza by Florence Knoll
Credenza by Florence Knoll
This minimalist credenza was designed by Florence Knoll in 1961 for Knoll Int., probably by De Coene in Belgium.
Florence Knoll revolutionized private office design by replacing the executive desk with a table, so she needed a place for all the stuff that’s normally in the desk drawers. Her solution was a low credenza. This iconic design works as well in a dining room as in an office.
This credenza features a body and doors of white lacquered wood, an elegant chromed base, chromed handles and a Carrara marble top. The back side is finished with white lacquer, so this credenza can be used as a room divider.
It is a vintage piece, the body and the doors have been repainted.
The overall condition of this credenza is very good.
