Constructivist Dining Table by Christophe Gevers
Constructivist Dining Table by Christophe Gevers
This constructivist dining table was designed by Christophe Gevers and edited by be.classics in 2001.
The heavy red-orange metal base consists of 3 legs that can be placed in different positions so that the rectangular glass top can be changed into a square or circular glass, stone or wooden top.
This table is an extraordinary design by one of our favorite Belgian designers. His pieces are rare and hard to find.
This table is in good vintage condition. The glass top has some scratches and the metal base some paint damages, visible on the detail pictures.
Christophe Gevers (1928-2007) was a self-taught craftsman distinguished by the use of raw materials that become more beautiful over time. He has designed various interiors in Brussels and abroad, for both public and private clients.
“I use materials of which I know that will resist time.” Christophe Gevers – 2001
