Verner Panton designed the Barboy in 1963.
This Barboy of black lacquered moulded laminated wood has 4 chrome casters.
The four-part cylindrical body has 2 swing-out sections to hold drinks etc.
This Barboy is in a very good original condition. It is dated 21 Dez. 1965 and numbered 200, so made by the first manufacturer A. Sommer in Germany, under the trade name Declina they produced the Barboy from 1963 until 1967. Later it was produced by Bisterfeld & Weiss, Vitra and VerPan.
