Alu Chair Hammerpaint by Muller Van Severen for Valerie_Objects

The alu chair is an industrial version of the ‘chair 2’ created by Muller Van Severen for the Bahrain pavilion at the World Expo in 2015.
The alu chair is made of aluminium and is suited for both indoor and outdoor use thanks to the beewax treatment and a UV protection lacquer.
Muller Van Severen created sixteen color combinations, which is a larger number than they usually work with. They wanted the user to be able to create a landscape of color. The colors of the chair determine the atmosphere of the space.

It was in early spring 2011 that Muller Van Severen was born, a creative collaboration that gave rise to a furniture collection by the Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. They are considered one of the most image-defining European design teams of today.
