'Fauteuil à dossier basculant' - LC1 by Le Corbusier for Cassina, 1965
Fauteuil à dossier basculant
The LC1 was designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928 for the villa Church. It is manufactured by Cassina since 1965.
This chair is signed and numbered 0574, so it is an early production and can be dated in the 1960s.
This sling chair with a polished chrome plated steel frame has a seat and back in pony skin. The arms are made of black saddle leather.
The chair is very comfortable. It is in very good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use.
There are some stains on the seat.
This LC1 is a must have with a nice patine.
