Jan Cobbaert mural 1960

Jan Cobbaert was a Belgian artist born in 1909 in Heverlee and died in 1995 in Kessel-Lo. He was a painter, draftsman, graphic artist, sculptor, ceramist and designer of stained glass windows and jewelry. This work is a part of a large mural of the municipal swimming pool in Leuven.The building was demolished around 2005 and David Laine from IPARC recovered this mural and mounted it on a wooden plate for display. The work could use a restoration but I am selling it as it is.

It will certainly be a conversation piece.
