The S6 armchair was designed by Alfred Hendrickx in 1958 for Belform.
It is probably the most pure design by Alfred Hendrickx. The elegant base and armrests are made of black lacquered birch wood.
Hendrickx loves wood and he did amazing things with this traditional material. He was inspired by the Italian designs of Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi and Carlo Mollino.
