This desk CM 174 was designed by the French designer Pierre Paulin and manufactured by Trefac in Belgium in the late 1950s.
The Belgian company Meurop was established in 1959 next to the company Trefac, which existed since 1946.
Together they produced small furniture in the late 1950s, the 1960s and 1970s.
This desk was designed by Pierre Paulin in 1957 – 1958, it is marked Trefac, so probably manufactured in 1958-1959.
It is a minimal desk with a simple black lacquered frame and a wooden top and drawer.
This desk is in very good original condition, with normal signs of age and use.
