Fiberglass Side Chairs by Eames for Herman Miller

The original fiberglass side chair is a design of Charles and Ray Eames.
An absolute classic, and one of the Eames’ best-known designs.

The molded fiberglass chair was born out of a chair originally designed in metal for MoMA’s International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design in 1948.
In 1950 the material was changed to fiberglass.

These chairs in beige-brown are authentic, the stackable bases included, the white gliders are new.
They are produced by Herman Miller and distributed by Vitra in Europe.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use, they are marked.
