This ceiling lamp was designed by Paul Gillis for Light in 1974. Paul Gillis founded in 1969 a light company under his own name. In 1976 it became the famous Belgian company Light. Light worked together with a lot of famous Belgian architects and designers, such as: Christophe Gevers, Ibens & Bataille, Xavier Lust, Maarten Van Severen, …
This minimalist lamp is a pure design in polished brass, it is reflecting the environment.
Paul Gillis and Light have always held that lighting should be absorbed into the entirety of architecture, interior design and decoration.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The lamp needs 2 R7s halogen or LED.
