Taraxacum 88 wall lamp by A. Castiglioni for Flos
Taraxacum 88 wall lamp by A. Castiglioni for Flos
‘A bubble machine. A spaceship. A glass flower.’
Achille Castiglioni designed in 1988 the Taraxacum for Flos. The Taraxacum 88 C/W lamp is one of the few icons of 1980s design that we unconditionally adore. The name Taraxacum is a latin translation of a “Dandelion”. When illuminated “Taraxacum 88 C/W” has a magical glow.
The structure is formed by 5 pressed and polished aluminum triangles. The ceiling fitting and rose are in steel. The light features 15 clear lamps which produce a most effective reflective lighting effect.
This wall or ceiling lamp is in perfect vintage condition and marked. It is currently out of production.
