HBK Dining Table by Willy Van Der Meeren, 1967
HBK Dining Table by Willy Van Der Meeren, 1967
In 1967 Willy Van Der Meeren designed the HBK Bank Building (1967-1969) in Antwerp. He designed the furniture as well. For the cafetaria he created a robust variant of the T1 table with an asymmetrical foot that repeats the shape of the table top.
This table was only produced for the HBK project.
The ‘Tangram’ shaped table top is made of wood veneer. The central base is made of black lacquered metal and finished with folded metal.
This authentic table is in very good vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use.
